The man made pond in my backyard was full of new life forms. Particularly the little mino’s that were swimming by the algea and pond scum that was also new to the ponds biotic and abiotic factors. Around the edges of the pond there was elk and moose scat, also there was a lot of mole burrows. The water was very low for what it normally is in the summer i believe that the pond will rise during the duration of this project. The many flora was the willows and you could see defintaly see the bite marks off the tree. I also saw a elk footprint in the mud around the pond.
